It was a cold winter night in Williamsburg but in a small part of town there was the warmth of joy and music. Yehuda Green a relatively new Jewish music star, who many say remind them of the great Shlomo Carlebach was leading a kumzitz. It was at this kumzitz on Motzei Shabbos November 14th that the one who recorded this clip asked Yehuda if he could please sing a song from his then upcoming album? Yehuda understood the question as a request to compose right than and there a brand new song. And so he did!
That song later made it on to the just released album "Yearning", available in stores now.
This video is of that historical moment during that kumzitz.
