Shechita, Bedika, Nikur, and Melicha of a Lamb.
Rabbi Zirkind demonstrates the kosher processing of a lamb from a living animal to salted meat in Morristown, New Jersey, Sivan 5769.
This video does show an animal being shechted. If you don't want to see this, don't watch it.
Learning inside a book is great, but to see what you are learning about is invaluable.
