Zigelbaum or what ever his name is did an incredible job on the final production I don't know why he's doing such a bad job on the video!

Schlagbaum did actually sound great on the CD. Gestetner does sound nice, but nothing special. I feel bad for Shlagbaum though that the video doesn't really do him justice. I heard from a couple of friends though that they saw Shlagbaum at a wedding a couple of months ago and they say he was incredible.

This Video is not good for any of these singers. the song is in such a high key, that they all have a hard time hiting the high part.SHAME.The cd sounds nice.

the first guy didnt even sing the second part and the third guy was screaming to reach it

it is a nice song and your right its a shame for all these singers that they didnt get a fair shot. still oorah is the only place that has a contest like this its cool. my brother entered and didnt win, better luck next year

anon
Everyone sang the whole song.
The first guy (schnitzler) actually sang the high pretty smoothly I don't know why oorah didn't include it. But you could tell it was his first time in a studio.
Gestetner has a very polished voice. He'll make it big dome day.
They were all good but the high key was hard on everyone.
I thought this song worked best with shlagbaum. As for hitting the high part that's where modern technology comes in.

It's rediculous to have auditions with a song that the high note is a high b natural. Why couldn't they use a normal song? (aside from the reason that after listening to thousands of demos the best song happens to be one composed by an oorah counselor.)

Why? i though some of those songs were actualy pretty good, the Schweble song and the audition winner song.

which makes me wonder, who is or are the composers of all the oorah songs?

Being in the video editing business i can tell you that oorah did a great job rigging this contest, the first 3 singers look awful and the "winner" sings the nicest! Don’t you guys understand? its digitally edited they put in the worst part of the 3 losers and the nicest part of the winner and then digitally fix his voice so that’s how you get such biased clip, and my personal opinion is gestetner should have won he carried the tune very well even on the highest note.
