A few months back (Nov. 16) a blog by the name of Geulah Perspective wrote a story where someone came to Rav Kanievsky asking if he should make his chasunah on a certain date in Kislev of this year. Rav Kanievsky responded and said that he should not make the wedding on that date as we would be in bunkers.
There were conflicting reports if the story was accurate or not.
I remember reading this then and wondering... Turns out it was on Chanukah when Israel retaliated on Hamas as Hamas fired hundreds of rocket on to Israel.
