Students Share Chanukah Light With Candy

Some Tri-State students are sharing the joy of the Chanukah season through candy.
Students at the Chabad Hebrew School constructed a giant Menorah made entirely of candy Sunday morning. The project is part of their annual Chanukah party at the Chabad Jewish Center on Hunt Road in Blue Ash. Following the party, the candy Menorah will be on display at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center to help light up the lives of hospitalized children. "This is an opportunity for our students... to bring a smile to children who are spending Chanukah in the hospital," says Rabbi Berel Cohen, principal of Chabad Hebrew School.

The eight-day Chanukah holiday begins at sundown Sunday night.
