A live global Hakhel gathering took place Thursday, with live performances by Avraham Fried, Chaim Fogelman, and Yitzi Erps. Children around the world participated in saying pesukim and singing together. The event was organized by loving memory of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's Shluchim and all those who perished in the attacks in Mumbai.
Locations included: 770-Lubavitch World Headquarters; Kfar Chabad, Israel; Arizona - Camp Tzeirei Hashluchim; South Africa; Moscow, Russia; London, England; Montreal, Canada and Los Angeles, California.

The video here includes the Channukah Menorah lighting in Mumbai India at the Chabad House (Nariman House), the very same spot where 6 Kedoshimn were murdered, followed by Avraham Fried's live singing of Haneiros Halalu broadcasted live around the world.
The kindling in Mumbai was done by Rabbi Nachamn Hoiltzberg of Brooklyn NY, father of the murdered Rabbi and Chabd Shliach of Mumbai, Rabbi Gavriel Holyzberg HY"D.
