A Fundraising Event to Benefit the Shaare Zion Torah Center.
Avraham Fried, Mordechai Shapiro, Benny Friedman, Yoni Z, Nechemia Katz,
Under the leadership of our senior rabbis, Rabbi Meyer Yedid and Rabbi Raymond Haber, over 120 rabbis and teachers give classes on a wide range of topics, at different levels, catered specifically to each group.
With classes for monthly, weekly, and daily engagement, the Torah Center is a place where one can start learning for the first time, grow to advanced levels, and eventually give back to the community as a teacher. We have programs for directed study, group classes, and structured programs for both men and ladies. The Torah Center has been pivotal in the wide reach of Torah learning in the Syrian Community, and in the world at large.
Shaare Zion Torah Center is the pioneer of the world phenomenon, Habruta Night, where outreach is made to friends, family and acquaintances who are not currently learning Torah. One night a week, the study hall is full of new and soon to become familiar faces and the sounds of hundreds of voices refamiliarizing themselves with Torah study.

Car Moved At Just The Right Time
"My parents were getting ready to head out for the weekend. My mom was getting the last minute things at the grocery. She told my dad to go wash the car to get the berries from the tree next door. He just got home and was not in the mood to go but she insisted it be cleaned. He moved the car just as a tree decided their driveway was the best spot to fall."

Shaya Hecht - Through the Pain - Single
Introducing a transformative musical experience that bridges tradition and modern healing—our new single, a powerful cover of "Habeit" by Abie Rotenberg. Originally penned and performed in 2008 at Camp Nageela, a Jewish outreach (Kiruv) camp for secular children, these elucidated lyrics have already touched countless hearts. Now, we bring this profound song to a wider audience, infused with a unique element that makes it revolutionary in the Jewish music scene.
At H.I.P. Counseling Center, we are a group psychotherapy practice in the New York area founded by Shaya Hecht dedicated to helping individuals reduce shame and embrace their humanity, because "Humanly IS Possible." This single is more than just a song; it's a tool for healing. By integrating a body meditation with the music, we offer an unparalleled experience designed to promote emotional and spiritual well-being.
In these challenging times, it is vital for us to find ways to connect, heal, and grow as a community. This release aims to inspire and support Jews worldwide, providing a soothing balm through its harmonious blend of melody, mindfulness, and connection..
Discover the healing power of "Habeit/Through The Pain" as you’ve never experienced before. Let the music guide you on a journey of introspection, connection, and healing. Join us in embracing this new niche in Jewish music—where tradition meets therapeutic innovation.
Listen, feel, and heal with H.I.P. Counseling Center's groundbreaking new single featuring its founder and director, Shaya Hecht, LCSW.

May the inspiration and healing that comes from this song be a zchus (merit) for the neshoma (soul) of Rose Lubin a’h- Rut Elisheva bat Chaim Dovid, a border policewoman in Israel and alumnus at Camp Nageela, the magical place where the seeds for this song were planted, who was tragically murdered in the line of duty at the beginning of the war in Israel.

Live From Borough Park: Lag B'Omer Kinus on 13th Ave
A grand celebration in honor of the heilige Rashbi will take place together with Shmueli Unger and Avrumi Berko and the Yiddish Nachas Choir, and much more
The annual kinnus of Yiddishe kinderlach of Boro Park has become a highlight of the year, and this year's event promises to be bigger and better!
For many years, the event was headlined by HoRav Moshe Wolfson, shlit”a, who is in need of a refuah sheleiemah.
"The Rashbi is here, at this kinnus" HoRav Wolfson would tell the children, giving them chizuk. And since the Rashbi is at the event, everyone wants to be there too, to be part of the achdus, to daven and to reap brochos. The koach if thousands of children reciting Tehillim together as one for the yeshu’ah of Klal Yisroel, is outstanding.
"Our children need this," said Rabbi Aron Ginsberg, the menahel of the event. "They need to feel proud and happy in their Yiddishkeit, and nothing gives it to them more than a gathering like this."
Indeed, this year the organizers have moved the event to the center of Boro Park, pulling out the stops to make this event unforgettable. While the children enjoy the entertainment, the adults have a deeper appreciation for the meaningful messages that come alive in such an exciting way.
