Menachem Levy - New Single - Zman Hageula
Eight months ago French singer Menachem Levy released his last single a pumping English song titled “Bring Out The Light.” The song went on to make waves in Jewish music and was played on the radio world wide.
Now Menachem is back with his newest single which will be included on his upcoming debut album. The song is entitled “Zman Hageula” and was composed and lyrics written by Menmachem himself.

Hang Glider Narrowly Escapes Horrifying In-Air Collapse
Hang gliding world champion Jon Gjerde was lucky to survive an extraordinary brush with death recently after his hang glider collapsed high in the air at a show.
Gjerde, who is from Norway, is a world champion in aerobatic hang gliding and he was performing stunts at the Ekstremsportveko festival in Voss when the incident occurred two weeks ago.
The petrifying moment takes place about 49 seconds into Gjerde’s video, just after he’d performed some sharp turns for the crowd. Everything seems normal before all of a sudden his gilder collapses on itself sending Gjerde into a sickening spin.
Luckily Jon managed to get the parachute to deploy and he was met immediately by rescue personnel when he landed in the water. This week he released videos of the accident, including one that shows the drama from the crowd’s point of view.

Video Captures Palestinian Woman Stabbing Attempt
Dressed in a light pink tunic and jeans a young female Palestinian assailant attempting to stab two soldiers and a civilian on Tuesday evening.
A video of the attack was posted online. It was shot from a vehicle that passed the site of the attack, a bus stop at the Gitai Avisar junction near the West Bank city of Ariel.
The young woman held her hand up and clenched a knife. She walked slowly in the direction of two soldiers who had their rifles drawn. As she moved forward, on step at time, they walked backward. She moved closer to them and seemed almost about to lunge at them, when they shot her.
The woman fell to the ground, in the middle of the bus stop, and then rolled for a second on the pavement. No one else was wounded. The attacker was transferred to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, where she was in serious but stable condition.
The incident came after two Israelis were killed in terrorist attacks in the West Bank last week.
On Thursday, Muhammad Tarayrah, 17, murdered teenager Hallel Yaffa Ariel while she slept in her home in Kiryat Arba. And, on Friday, Rabbi Michael “Miki” Mark, 47, a father of 10 and the director-general of the Otniel Yeshiva, was killed by a Palestinian gunmen as he drove on Route 60 in the South Hebron Hills.
His wife and two of their children, ages 14 and 15 were wounded in the incident. Both teenagers have been released from the hospital.

It has gained widespread acceptance as one of the major works and foundations of Chasidic ideology.

Entebbe - 40th Anniversary
40th anniversary of the miraculous raid at Entebbe, a 6 minute synopsis of the most daring hostage rescue in history and a testament to the courage and determination of the IDF.
Today, Monday 4th of July, is not only American Independence Day. It also marks the 40th Anniversary of the incredible Rescue at Entebbe by Israeli Special Forces commandos of over 100 Jewish hostages taken captive by Arab terrorists at Entebbe Airport in Uganda.
In honor of this milestone occasion, Sydenham Shul in Johannesburg, South Africa produced a short video synopsis of the raid, one of the most daring hostage rescues of all time. The video, Miracle at Entebbe, premiered at the Shul's recent Benny Friedman concerts in Johannesburg.

The Difference Between 850 and 10,000 Horsepower
Don't blink, or you might miss it.
You would think a 10,000 horsepower funny car drag racer would be fast. But only when you put it up against an 850 horsepower trophy truck offroader do you realize how unearthly fast it actually is
This whole comparo was set up as part of a seat swap between professional baritone/desert racer Bryce Menzies and human projectile/drag racer Cruz Pedregon. Both tried out each others sort of demo cars and both did pretty well. Here’s the video and it’s pretty great:
But the best part is when Menzies and Pedregon face off on the drag strip in their pro cars, trophy truck versus funny car.
Menzies was pulling 10.5s, so they gave him a six second head start against Pedregon.
