The concerts were sponsored by Keren Meromim, the local Jewish communities and Keren Levayev in honor of the Year of Hakhel and to build up Jewish pride throughout Ukraine.

Judge Greets Classmate Leaving Jail

Ten months after a judge came face-to-face with a former classmate in her courtroom; she was there to meet him as he was released from jail. Miami Judge Mindy Glazer gave Arthur Booth tough love as they were reunited. 'You've got to take care of your family, try and get a job, stay clean,' she told him. Last June, Judge Glazer made headlines when she recognized Booth, a burglary suspect, when he entered her court. She remembered him from middle school.

Cop Saves Cars From Sinkhole

A Chinese police officer saved several drivers from going into a large sinkhole that opened up in the middle of a busy intersection.

The lone cop stood in the middle of traffic to usher motorists around the small crack that appeared in the road surface. The cop spotted the crack and got cracking on redirecting traffic.

Chinese Toddler Uses Steel Pipe to Defend Grandma

Need to talk to this toddler’s grandmother?

Then you’ll have to get past him, and his large metal bar, first.

Video posted online that has gone viral shows the warrior infant defending his elderly relative from urban management officers in China.

“Don’t touch my grandma! Go away, don’t touch my grandma!” he screams out, while wielding the makeshift weapon.

The youngster, believed to be just 3 years old, then throws the pipe to the ground and stares menacingly at officials, before being escorted away. The clip, punctuated with the laughter of bystanders, ends. It’s unclear exactly when and where in China the footage was filmed.

some reports indicate that the unidentified toddler’s extreme reaction was provoked by city employees, who were trying to remove his grandma’s street stall. It’s not been reported what happened to his grandmother’s business, or the little boy himself.

Largest Rubik's Cube

Guinness World Records has just confirmed that lifelong puzzle fan Tony Fisher (UK) has created the world’s Largest Rubik’s cube, measuring a whopping 5 ft 1.7 in x 5 ft 1.7 in x 5 ft 1.7 in

It took Tony just two months to construct his fully functional Rubik's Cube at his home in Suffolk, where he demonstrated it works by attempting to solve it – not an easy feat when the puzzle weighs about 100 kg.

In his application for the title, Tony told Guinness World Records: “I am a Rubik’s Cube fan and enjoy making and solving twisty puzzles in general. I am also fascinated by world records and I have always wanted to break one or set one.” He explained: “[The cube] was constructed from plastic sheet, plastic pipe, plastic foam, ABS plastic core … cardboard, vinyl sticker material, gaffer tape and cast polyurethane resin.” The Guinness World Records guidelines for this title state that the Rubik’s cube must be made from the same materials as a regular sized Rubik's cube.

The puzzle enthusiast has had visitors from as far afield as Japan come to see his record-breaking construction and he hopes to find a museum to display it in soon.
