13 Year Old Boy Pianist at Festival of Light Concert

Pinchas Antal performed Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2, Op. 18, 1st Movement, reduction for 2 pianos with accompaniment by Vladimir Krassov at the Festival of Light concert.

The performance took place on December 4th, 2013 at the Vincent d'Indy Music School. At the time of this performance Pinchas is 13 years old and has been playing piano for just under 3 years. Apologies on the video as the 1st notes of the performance are missing.

Waffles the Terrible (Vaflik, Вафлик) fails a lot... every day at one thing or another.
This kitten decides to jump from roof of snow covered van to roof of snow covered garage.
First attempt he saves himself... but only to fail moments later. He then collects all his wits and leaps very hard, but doesn't move an inch, as he nosedives passed his destination. He is named Waffles the Terrible because he just is. He is about 7 months old and very fluffy (not fat).

We took him in from the streets when he was 2 months old and all by himself, living under some wood and even though he is big fail we love him anyways."

Double Crane Collapse

Two construction workers in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas are extraordinarily lucky to be alive, after their 60-tonne double cranes collapsed into an enormous pit at a train station.

Moments before, one of the men can be heard telling his workmates that he is attempting a "dangerous manoeuvre" but is "doing an excellent job." The video appears to show the first crane slam to the ground, creating a chain reaction that seems to pull the second crane down into the pit. Two people were injured as a result of the crane crash.

People Blown Over in Norway Streets

People shopping in downtown Aalesund had troubles crossing the street today. The storm "Ivar" was blowing things and people around and police had to assist people in moving around.

One man blew off the sidewalk and into the street in an intersection downtown Aalesund earlier. An ambulance was required and the police is now present in the streets, to follow the development and help out where needed.

The storm is continuing towards Trondelag where 20 000 people now have lost power, and buses and boats are suspended. The police are also urging people to stay away from the downtown area in Trondheim.
