Shabbos is a time when we all disconnect from the mundane and reconnect with our family and Hashem. No matter how many Shabbos songs we grew up with, there is always place to squeeze in another song at our Shabbos meals.
Eight years ago the world was introduced to the hartzige nigunim of composer extraordinaire Reb Pinchas Wolf, titled Shirei Pinchas. To date he has released four albums featuring some of the top vocalists in Jewish music as well as Reb Pinchas singing some of the nigunim.
Reb Pinchas at the age of 76 ad mayo v’esrim shono, still davens for the omud every Shabbos Mevorchim to rave reviews from the mispalelim. His ability to improvise chazanus while at the omud is amazing.
The fifth album, Shirei Shabbos, contains five all new songs as well as nine songs from Shirei Pinchas volumes 1-4. All composed by Pinchas Wolf; produced and arranged by Doni Gross. Featuring top vocalists as well as Reb Pinchas and featuring the Yedidim International Choir.

Shirei Pinchas 4 - Pinchus Wolf - Album Sampler
In 2016, the Jewish music world was introduced to composer extraordinaire Reb Pinchas Wolf. In the almost three years since he has released not one, but four albums of his niggunim sung by star soloists, each one better than the next.
With the success of his most recent album Shirei Pinchas 3 including hits like; Tate Oy Tatenyu, Alef Bays, and more recently the two singles Yom Yom and Shalom Aleichem, Pinchas has shown that not only can he compose any style of song but he can also sing them as well.
Shirei Pinchas 4 is masterfully arranged and produced by the talented Doni Gross who has been working with some of the top performers in Jewish music. Pinchas, not only composes these amazing hartzige niggunim, but also many times writes their intros and interludes as well. The album features returning star vocalists Shlomo Simcha, Micha Gamerman, Tzvi Silberstein, Dovid Lowy and Pinchas Wolf himself performing not one, but 5 of his own songs despite his advanced age (72).
While Pinchas’s voice might not be as full as it once was in his younger years, it still has its vibrancy and most of its range making it a pleasure to listen to. Pinchas really shines in the albums opening track “Ata Chonein,” a nigun that is sure to be picked up by minyanim across the globe. The song “Shema Beni” also has “Shlomo”-like elements to it with some original English lyrics written by Pinchas himself. Pinchas Wolf - Dovid Lowy - Yom Yom - Music Video
Yom Yom is the latest single from Pinchas Wolf. The song will be featured on his upcoming fourth album Shirei Pinchas 4 produced and arranged by the talented Doni Gross. As in the past, Wolf always has a talented vocalist to “give voice” to his nigunum. This song is no exception. He reached out to rising star Dovid Lowy of Ramat Beit Shemesh to give this modern song some unique color and flavor. The end result is a song that you will be singing long into the winter. Not only does the song feature Hebrew lyrics, but it also features some English words penned by the talented Mrs. Chayala Neuhaus.
Yom Yom is being released with a fun and upbeat music video scripted by Dovid Lowy himself and filmed and edited by the ever talented Shimmy Socol (Mordechai Shapiro’s Schar Mitzvah, Machar, Benny Friedman’s Reb Yehoshua Omer, Meilech Kohn’s Likrat Shabbat etc.) The video reminds us that even when you seem to be at a hard point in life, there is still so much that we have to thank Hashem for. Though he is in his 70’s, composer Pinchas Wolf hasn’t stopped for a moment. With the release of Shirei Pinchas volume one a year and a half ago and volume two a little more the half a year ago, Pinchas is ready to light up your Chanukah with Shirei Pinchas volume 3.
Shirei Pinchas 3 features the return of famed vocalists Shlomo Simcha, Dovid Gabay, Micha Gamerman and Shimmy Miller, as well as welcoming new artists to the “shirei pinchas” family Eitan Katz, Uri Davidi and Ari Goldwag.
With the release of Shirei Pinchas just over a week away, Reb Pinchas decided to release the song “Alef Bays” as a single to give you a little taste of what’s to come. The song features famed vocalist, chazzan and choir leader Shimmy Miller
Reb Pinchas’s composition will have you singing Alef Beis Gimmel Daled Hey all day. Pinchas composed this tune over 30 years ago when he was chozer b’tshuva, and the Yiddish lyrics and chazanus are of his own design. The niggun and the words just came to him one day together out of the blue. Now 30 years later he is presenting it to the entire world to enjoy.
Shirei Pinchas 3 will be in stores and all digital outlets in time for Chanukah and by distributed in the US by Aderet Music.
