Although you can't trust all that is seen in this video as you are guaranteed to see only one side of the story. What seems to be occurring is that one Israeli settler refuses to move his car which is causing traffic saying he has the right of way.

Why all the Anger Here?

There has been an outpour of rage regarding a video that was posted on YouTube last week. The video which (was posted last week on Grutnig, and) has since been removed from the Internet, seemed to be from a cell phone camera or a digital photo camera. It contained footage of the fifth grade class of the Vien Yeshiva in Brooklyn during their recces. there were two or three videos and neither of them were longer then one minute.

The uproar - which has caused only more publicity of the videos and other negative consequences as well as to the teacher who is the author of the videos - seemed to be instigated by The Yeshiva World who posted a letter from a reader about the videos. Consequently there were many comments by readers left there.

I think this was exaggerated and taken out of proportion, as there are many videos of Chasidisher children in cheder posted on the net and many were featured on this site (here is one example). So why all the outrage here? Playing around with someones Parnasah is playing with fire!

Gruntig being the first to post the video(s) (excluding YouTube itself) regrets and apologises if it has in any way contributed to this mess. It was never our intention or even our thinking that this could cause the effects that occurred.

Monkeys celebrate Chanukah

Monkeys in Israel celebrating the Jewish festival, Chanukah with seasonal toys. The Israeli zoo Monkey Park in Kfar Daniel gave monkeys a chance to celebrate Hanukkah by distributing dreidels, or spin tops, to the monkeys. "We try and give them different kinds of enrichments every few days to make their life more interesting," said Tamar Fredman of Monkey Park. "We thought as it's Hanukkah now and there is a tradition of playing with spin tops, we thought maybe the monkeys would enjoy playing with it. Instead of spinning the toys, the monkeys look more interested in breaking them open to get to the special treat inside.

Although the University claims that it values freedom of expression, they tried to prevent him from speaking by charging outrageous security fees, and high rental fees for a small hall. The rabbi compared this to the poll tax where they tried to prevent blacks from voting in the south. In any event, he decided to walk on campus without the approval of the administration, where about 1000 students came to hear him.

IDF Takes Down Kassem Rocket Launchers

The IDF recently released this video showing how they take out Kassem rocket launchers

In the video you can see the rockets being prepared and set up for launching at Israel. The IDF shoots some sort of missile at them but they manage to disperse and stay safe. After the smoke clears they come back to finish setting up the launchers. The IDF then destroys some of the launchers. The mission is not perfect as one launcher avoids destruction and managed to send off its Qassam to Sderot.
